Work on getting buy-in at senior management levels, instead of focusing on training at the staf and middle management levels.
I think our organization does a good job in thinking about this but has no concrete policy or statement about diversity and inclusion. I think that needs to be our next step.
I work for a State Agency and they are very concisous of the diversity of our employees. I do know we could be better at inclusion as a whole organization.
Continue to build trust in relationships so that honest conversations and awareness can lead to inclusion and model that for others.
Working more actively to encourage and promote leadership diversity in my organization.
We have a statement at our org, but maybe it is time to revisit it and make any changes. P.s. I loved the visuals of equity vs inclusion-- we would love to use simular ones.
