Great, thank you.

I can't see the poll
where is the def for trauma-informed approaches coming from?
Can we get an official written definition from ASPE to use in our work?
I can see the presentation but says I am viewing through screen sharing.
Hello Alexis - the resources in the weblink on ASPE's site have these definitions, and also reference the sources, which we we used for this presentation as well.
Please enter questions for our presenters here - we will have some time at the end to address a few questions that came in during the registration process, but will have time for additional questions you pose in the moment.
Mary Blake, Chair, Federal Partners Committee on Women and Trauma
William, we will address your question about ACEs in the third theme of the presentation when Jeff Hild presents. Thanks!
I see Trauma informed schools as a part of a comprehensive school mental health system. Can you discuss how you see that intersection?
Please share similar work you are doing in this chat or use this space to ask questions. Thanks!
Great question Joyce. Our presenter from ASPE will address your question aloud in the Q and A at the end of this session.
What exactly does "responsible citizenship" mean?
I wanted to share this new resource that synthesizes the knowledge and guidance of over 75 experts nationally. They represent 3 Expert Panels that SAMHSA did over the past year plus.Ultimately, this resource is a foundational document in the field to help guide local, state, and national efforts to strengthen school mental health efforts and to start to understand and bring consensus to the quality domains of school mental health.
That's great Joyce! Are you able to upload the file in this chat pod or include a weblink?
You can download at this link: http://www.schoolmentalhealth.org/Resources/Foundations-of-School-Mental-Health/Advancing-Comprehensive-School-Mental-Health-Systems--Guidance-from-the-Field/ Tennessee was a participant and Pam as well.
Thank you so much for sharing Joyce. Please, others, feel free to share your excellent resources in this chat pod as well.
This content is fantastic. Regrettably, I have to depart early. Can you let us know how we will have access to the PPT slides with notes (some presenters mentioned add’l content in notes section) and the recorded webinar. There’s so much here to share with others!
Please visit traumasmart.org to learn more about how Trauma Smart can support your school or early education agency as you work towards becoming trauma informed.

Thanks for the excellent questions about some of the links Jenn referenced. She will be putting those in the chat pod in the next little bit so you can save them and dig in later!

After this webinar I will be downloading your slides, sharing them with my management team and asking team members to identify at least one new initiative they will be taking on this coming year.
Expand ACE survey data collection to include resilience survey,
I will share this webinar with our Statewide Collaborative on Trauma Informed Care (Texas), as it aligns perfectly with our work! Thank you so much!
Will share the information contained in this webinar and the resources developed by ASPE with the membership of ACEsConnection.

I’m going to download the two reports that Pamala talked about, as well as the screening tool from TIO and the Pair of Aces Tree tool to incorporate these resources in the trauma-informed professional development training for early childhood educators that I conduct. I am also interested in finding out more about my local TA Center.
I will share equity measurement process and examples with collaborative working on developing evaluation of trauma initiatives statewide.
Will share link to webinar recording with Washington State ACEs Action - ACEs Connection Community.
A federal TA Center on trauma is an interesting idea.
A number of years ago there were federal early childhood-child welfare grants that went to two communities that referred children in child welfare to 'trauma informed' early care centers that were designated as such by local QRIS system and had competed certain training. Intersting idea for sure.
Thank you for the wonderful information
Thank you for all the resources and information shared today!
Thanks to Tory in Washington. Also see State ACEs Action on AC
Thank you this was great
Thank you for the information!
Great speakers. I would have liked to hear more examples of actual trauma-informed care and how it is manifested.
