Hello Amy!

01:44:22
From Sandy cooley to All Panelists: 03:14 PMWhat typically happens during kitten season when intake is very high and theoretically the shelter would have fewer cages available?

01:44:31
what material are the portals made of?

01:44:57
Reminder: when you chat, select All Panelists and Attendees BEFORE you hit enter.

I have always wanted to be Kate Hurley when I grow up.

01:48:00
From riann goodacre to All Panelists: 03:18 PMwhere can you purchase the portals and template from?

01:49:48
omg! best webinar ever!

01:50:02
Next time we need a gropro on her head so we can get a first person view :) And i agree this is the best webinar i've ever watched haha

01:50:35
wow!

01:50:37
From Kim Adams to All Panelists: 03:20 PMYep, I'm agreeing, best webinar ever! Getting ready to finish out our last 8 cage portals this weekend!

01:50:45
We need a GoPro camera positioned on the inside of the cage :)!

01:50:52
Crazy applause!!!

01:50:57
OH, I need that nibbler tool for SOOO many things!! I love it!!!

01:52:24
Do you usually cover one side of the two kennels with a towel or shoreline cover so they have a quiet space?

01:52:49
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

01:52:54
OMG! YES DIY KITTY HEADS

01:52:56
LOVE IT

01:53:08
Purrfect idea !!

01:53:11
That is a pretty cute idea

01:53:15
what would a donor pay for that? #ALLTHEMONEY

01:54:22
So that means those two portal connected cages house ONE cat, correct? In our shelter, the portal divides TWO cats who do not interface. I have even noticed it causing anxiety when the caged cats can see one another, or worse, if the lucite ‘door’ falls down. I’ve even taped a lucite face shut to alleviate stress. Any Tips?

01:54:24
some tool librarys lend/rent them

01:54:43
Does anyone do this with non-Shorelines? We have like wood or maybe MDF or particle board.

01:55:16
Also it sounds like, if we fill up in cats and need to close the portals to have more cat cages, that is an option. True?

01:56:02
So there's no sealant that helps mount the portal to the metal kennel sides before screwing? I'm just wondering for like, water leakage, urine, cleaning liquids that may get between the side of the portal and the metal.

01:56:23
From Nancy Gregory to All Panelists: 03:26 PMcan you put a portal in the floor to enable the kitties to go up and down or wouldn't that work. Our cages are in a pet store and made of wood not steel.

01:56:47
From Jacqueline Johnson to All Panelists: 03:26 PMwhere do you get the portal?

01:56:58
@ceil THEY DO NEED TO BE TIPPED!

01:57:18
I was wondering about the floor thing too. Also, what about trapping germs between the portal and the cage door?

01:58:17
Do the screws loosen after time and need tightening?

01:58:17
what's the measurement (width) of the portal with the door open?

01:58:28
*claps*

01:59:10
Has there been reports f the doors breaking off, like they do on the cat dens?

01:59:52
Good job! :-)

02:00:08
From Brittany Crowe to All Panelists: 03:30 PMI saw someone asked this earlier but do you cover one side for a quiet space?

02:00:55
Okay that is awesome the raised bed!

02:01:35
From Jacqueline Johnson to All Panelists: 03:31 PMis there pictures of this in resources or do we do a screen shot?
