Knowing all of this it is troubling that our schools, generally speaking, have slashed recess...and didn't adapt during the Pandemic...

Is Claritin trying to get kids outside so they might need their products?
Monica Williams
57:30
Will do Zoe! Here is a 3 min example of kids reporting out digitally on their placemaking at the 3rd International Placemaking Chattanooga workshop we ran with the Chattanooga Innovation District: Would love to hear your thoughts! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HXb9EEDhK_A&list=PLyuSxw3J7M4vBaNFP4DfTFo7i-QUSwuxo&index=2

Question 1 for panelists:How can technology help public spaces better serve their communities (or not)?
Austin Bishop
01:07:10
Love Community Days!
Madison Georgoff-Menich
01:07:45
Are those community days easily replicable in other communities?
Sree Ganesan
01:08:01
Lafitte Greenway has been designed with good scale in mind both art and the greenway.

Technology + Purpose brings about the Human-Centered Social Sphere
Megan Cooke
01:11:13
Hi Tim! We couldn't agree more and it's central to Nature Sacred's approach to community-led, community-designed green spaces. We even developed a guide for landscape architects, which can be found on our research reports page, https://naturesacred.org/reports/
Madison Georgoff-Menich
01:11:23
Where can we find more info about the Eco-Counters?
Beth Clark
01:11:41
What were those counters again? I work in a public park so looking for good methods to track usage
Savanah Sewell
01:12:59
Sometimes this concept can fit into Smart City strategies if your City / community has one
Project for Public Spaces (Juliet)
01:13:05
Question 2 for panelists:What public space inequities do you seek to address most in your work, and how do you approach them?
Beth Clark
01:13:26
;;;;;.
Lisa Shore
01:13:30
Any ideas for creative partnerships with public libraries?
TECH HOST (Rebecca - she/her)

Thank you Rebecca!
Megan Cooke
01:15:39
Hi Lisa, we at Nature Sacred have partnered with libraries; type library in our directoty, https://naturesacred.org/our-work/firesoul-network/directory/. Also, AARP did a great library partnership in Philadelphia as part of their anniversary celebration
Beth Clark
01:15:41
Thank you!
Giovana Beltrao
01:16:06
Sophie, I understand one of the original uses of the space was parking. How parking was addressed through the space revitalization? Thanks.
Lisa Lawson
01:17:43
Can Victoria talk about "community days" and how these location-based apps might be used in rural locations? I'd love some ideas about using this to engage young people in their community with this technology.
Voncelle Volté
01:18:13
⚡ RE: Tech Counting (Smart Parks)This #SmartCity" technology is sensitive to balancing counting usage with privacy. It's a combination of Artificial Intelligence and Bioinformatics. Law enforcement already uses this tech (e.g., Iris Scan). So, consider partnering with them for safety. However, add Bioethics to your proposal for Smart Parks.🤖🅿️🏞️👮‍♀️👮‍♂️🌻🌻🌻
Savanah Sewell
01:19:22
Yes! Thank you Voncelle for this insight!
Sophie Harris Vorhoff | Lafitte Greenway
01:20:40
Giovana, the space was an old driveway that was no longer used. There is still limited parking on the Plaza space. During farmers market days and community programming, parking isn't allowed on the site. Many folks bike and walk to the space, and we have built partnerships with a nearby restaurant (Parkway Po'Boys) who allow us to use their parking lot during events and the farmers market.
Monica Williams
