first time for SOAP
My life is an offering. Focus on God… This world is not our home anyway. Walk and live in GRACE…
We don’t need to strive for perfection. God takes us as we are and we don’t have to strive to be accepted.
We don’t bring our goodness to God, He brings the goodness out of us
I have a tendency to focus on the ‘big picture’ end goals and get overwhelmed by how to get there. But recently I have no idea what my
God wants us to pay attention to him, he has the answers- I do not. I am always trying to figure out my purpose, If I focus on God- he will reveal my purpose to me. I have to be careful not to get comfortable in a life (culture) that does not honor him.
I need to quickly respond when I recognize what God wants me to do at any given time in my ORDINARY AND EVERYDAY life.
Next big thing is going to be. So God is revealing small steps without the big “finish line”. As I make one small step in obedience, the next one will come.
Observation: God develops you in well-formed maturity Application: Ask the Lord, show me how to live today.
we don’t have to change who we are to be accepted.
I graduated college recently and now work in the music industry. Though I love my job, I definitely have been finding myself trying to “fit into the culture without even thinking.” I haven’t been feeling like myself. My application will be to recognize when I’m trying to be someone else and remind myself that God has purpose for me and who I truly am.
Live in grace, God brings it all to us - God is my only good. Application: daily surrender - ask Holy Spirit to take control of my thoughts.
The word that stuck with me was “think” ….v..2 but let God transform you into a new person. We get stuck into patterns of doing the same
Thing and we just need to change our thought process through the Holy Spirit :)
The Lord wants us to walk in Grace
