A native of Minnesota, Pastor Jeff has been at Christ Memorial since 2005. After working in youth ministry and planting Christ Memorial’s city site, Reliant, he has been senior pastor since 2014. Pastor Jeff and his wife Bobbi have four children – Bella, Joshua, Emily, and Jacob. He blogs at sixthgen.com and has published two books, Loved & Sent and Tales from Kabekona. He enjoys time with his family, the outdoors, reading, running, basketball, and pretending to be a farmer. He currently serves on the board of directors for Eagle College Preparatory Schools in St. Louis.
Dr. Bruce Hartung
Emeritus Professor of Practical Theology @Concordia Seminary St. Louis
Dr. Bruce M. Hartung is Professor Emeritus, Practical Theology at Concordia Seminary St. Louis where he served as the Dean of Ministerial Formation. He is a Diplomate in the American Association of Pastoral Counselors and one of the association’s past presidents. Dr. Hartung also served as a counselor, executive director of pastoral counseling centers, director of counseling, and a parish pastor. He is the author of Holding Up the Prophet’s Hand.
Dr. Richard Marrs
Associate Professor of Practical Theology @Concordia Seminary St. Louis
Dr. Richard “Rick” Marrs is the director of the Master of Divinity and Residential Alternate Route (RAR) Programs and associate professor of Practical Theology at Concordia Seminary, St. Louis. Marrs was called to the faculty in the fall of 2006. He previously served as the dean of faculty (2010-13) and director of Continuing Education and Parish Services (2007-09). His areas of interest and expertise include pastoral care and counseling, and Christian reconciliation. He is also the author of 'Making Christian Counseling More Christ-Centered' which will focuses on the relevance of a Lutheran Law and Gospel dynamic in Christian counseling.
