Ang Cuy
Manager – Volunteer Development @YMCA Victoria
Ang Cuy is the Manager of Volunteer Development at YMCA Victoria, responsible for the strategic management, policy and best practice for up to 1500 volunteers in more than 100 locations, with an average donation of 50 hours per month per person, to the value of $3.6 M. Ang was also responsible for establishing YMCA Victoria’s inbound and outbound international volunteering opportunities, and received a Hall of Fame Program Pioneer Award for this particular area of work. Ang has worked in the volunteer sector for over 25 years. A passionate and vocal advocate for volunteers, she is a sought after speaker, facilitator and trainer on both a local and global level. In addition to her full-time role, Ang is still an active volunteer herself, and in this capacity is the President of the Music Theatre Guild of Victoria, the peak body for non-professional music theatre in Victoria, comprising over 100 volunteer-driven theatre companies around the state.
Tracey O'Neill
Manager of Volunteer Services @Austin Health
Tracey O’Neill has been involved in volunteer engagement in Australia since 2001 and has managed programs in the charity, health, veterans, and disability sectors. She is currently the Manager of Volunteer Services at Austin Health, one of the largest metropolitan health services in Victoria. Tracey is passionate about effective and sustainable volunteer engagement, and advocates for a change in how we think about and champion our profession. She is passionate about developing advanced leadership training opportunities to retain exceptional members of the sector. Tracey believes that effective volunteer management is critical to effective, transformative, and sustainable volunteer engagement. She would like to see volunteer management become a chosen career path and to see the role occupy senior leadership positions within organisations.
