COVID-19 Office Hours - Substance Use Disorder Services
As the National Council for Behavioral Health works tirelessly to provide timely resources for our member agencies during the coronavirus, COVID-19 epidemic, we recognize that the magnitude of the pandemic impacts every behavioral health practice in the country.

In response, we are launching a series of office hour sessions designed to foster peer engagement and help you respond to the surge in care demands that you now face. The sessions will include updates on recent regulatory and policy actions pertinent to the area, discussion of current areas of most pressing concern, exchange of ideas for intervention, early identification and discussion of new concerns rising or anticipated and collaborative support as we all deal with these challenges.

This Office Hours discussion on Substance Use Disorder Services (SUD) will be led by Tom Hill, MSW, senior advisor for addiction and recovery at the National Council for Behavioral Health and J. Craig Allen, M.D., from Hartford HealthCare.

This session depends on your input and it is critical that we hear from you about how you are making SUD services more available to support patients and staff during the widespread impact of COVID-19.

Other office hour sessions in this series will include the following focus areas related to COVID-19:

• Self-Care and Stress Management
• Finance and Operations
• Child, Youth and Families
• Residential Treatment Services
• Telehealth and Telemedicine
