Andy Arsenault
Key Accounts Division Lead @Yakima Chief Hops
Andy Arsenault is the Key Accounts Division Lead for Yakima Chief Hops. He spent 2 years as a production brewer in Downingtown, PA, specializing in German style lagers and hop-forward beers. Before brewing he worked as a consulting engineer for 8 years in the Environmental Engineering field. Andy holds a B.S. degree in Civil Engineering from Syracuse University, an M.S. degree in Environmental Engineering & Water Resources from Villanova University, and a Master Brewing Certificate from UC Davis. Since joining Yakima Chief Hops, Andy has worked with customers in the Mid Atlantic region on balancing hop contracts, hop utilization, and dry hopping techniques. Andy also works with the Technical Solutions team, developing new recipes, and works with equipment manufactures to provide engineering support on dry hopping equipment. Steve Thompson
Regional Sales Manager - Central USA @Yakima Chief Hops
Steve Thompson is the Yakima Chief Manager serving the Central, United States. Based in Madison, Wisconsin, Steve works with craft breweries in Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan, Iowa, Nebraska, North and South Dakota. Steve started his professional career in the microbiology field, focusing on food and consumer product safety. A call to brewing led Steve to a position at Dogfish Head Brewing in Milton, DE. Steve supervised the Quality laboratory at Dogfish Head for 5 years, focusing on the maintenance of craft beer quality during the entire brewing/packaging process. Following this time of immense learning at Dogfish Head, Steve was the Director of Brewing Operations at Barrio Brewing in Tucson, Arizona. After 5 years of managing the brewing and packaging at this smaller scale craft brewery, Steve joined the Yakima Chief team in Jan of 2018. Steve’s favorite style of beer is pilsner and has a passion for brewing beer at home.
