Trent Thiel
Industrial Molecular Filtration Product Manager North & South America @Camfil
Trent Thiel received his Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from North Carolina State University. He currently resides in the Bay Area of California and for the past seven years has been employed by Camfil, a $1B+ global company dedicated to the research and development of in Clean Air Filter Solutions for commercial and industrial applications. Currently he is the Industrial Molecular Filtration Product Manager for North and South America, where he is responsible for maintaining and developing a product portfolio to address toxic, corrosive, irritant, and odorous gaseous contaminants in industrial markets. Trent has been involved with the cannabis industry since 2014 and has established himself as an expert in air quality for indoor grow, processing, extraction and dispensary spaces.
Jeremy Shechter
Director of Cultivation @Buckeye Relief
Jeremy Shechter has been with been with Buckeye Relief since its inception in 2018, and was instrumental in designing and building the state-of-the-art facility located in Eastlake, OH. As Director of Cultivation, Jeremy focuses on crop optimization through innovative technology utilization and constant operational improvements. He leads the cultivation side of the company through rigorous data capture, analysis and experimentation, which has catapulted Buckeye Relief to the top of the Ohio medical marijuana market in terms of overall yield, quality and customer satisfaction. Prior to working at Buckeye Relief, Jeremy designed and consulted for aquaponics facilities and renewable energy development. He has a Bachelors in Agricultural Engineering from The Ohio State University. He has been featured in Cannabis Business Times, multiple vendor publications and spent time overseas working on humanitarian engineering projects in Ghana, Honduras & China
Brian Anderson
Principal, Co-Founder @Anderson Porter Design
Brian over 26 years of experience in the field of architecture, and over six years of concentration in architecture for the Cannabis Industry. With combined experience working as Architects for the Federal Reserve Bank of Boston during 9/11 and as Architects for MIT on 400,000sf of Neuroscience labs in Cambridge, Anderson and his firm have a deep background with integrated security, clean room and bio labs, which led them to their first medical marijuana project in 2014. Since, APD has designed 40+ retail dispensaries and over 2 million SF of cultivation and processing facilities in 14+ states and the EU. Brian has developed a proprietary stage gate project delivery tailored specific to the Cannabis Industry. Brian is an active member of the NCIA the national cannabis industry association where in 2019/20 he established and chaired the Facility Design Committee; he works with RII the Resource Innovation Institute on their Technical Advisory Council on matters of energy sustainability.
