What the Coronavirus Means for College Admissions
The coronavirus has upended the traditional admissions cycle, forcing many colleges into uncertain territory for the fall 2020 semester. How will the pandemic change students’ colleges plans? Will they forgo their first-choice college and attend a campus closer to their home? Will some students take a gap year and delay college attendance? How are different regions of the country being affected?

Understanding how enrollment will be affected is one of the key concerns for college leaders today. The Chronicle is partnering with Maguire Associates to release the results of a survey of 6,700 students and parents conducted in late March.

Register for this virtual forum to hear author Jeff Selingo discuss the findings with a representative from Maguire and explore what they mean for college enrollment with key admissions officials. The session will offer opportunities for participants to pose questions to the panelists and comment on the discussion.
