Well before the coronavirus struck in early 2020, many experts agreed that colleges needed to innovate and adapt to a changing student and financial landscape. Now, as the pandemic upends virtually every corner of higher education, creating serious challenges for many campuses, how do colleges continue to innovate? Can colleges pursue meaningful change when everything around them is uncertain?
Hosted by Chronicle senior writer Goldie Blumenstyk, this forum will bring together chief technology officers, innovation officers, and other college leaders to examine how colleges can continue to pursue innovative teaching and learning efforts in a vastly changed campus and societal context.
- Rovy Branon, vice provost for Continuum College, University of Washington
- Catherine “Cappy” Bond Hill, managing director, Ithaka S+R, and emerita president, Vassar College
- Brad Wheeler, vice president for information technology and professor of business, Indiana University
In addition, the program will contain a sponsor interview with Mike Belcher, director of edtech innovation from HP, Inc.
