Samuel Bertram
CEO & Co-Founder @OnePointOne
Samuel grew up with his brother, John (CoFounder and CTO, OnePointOne) in Wheelers Hill, Victoria, Australia. Samuel [and John] came to the United States to play collegiate tennis in 2011. Captain of his Division 1 Tennis team at Santa Clara University, Samuel graduated in 2016 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, and in 2018 with a M.S. in Robotics and Mechatronics. While at Santa Clara, Samuel also got involved in the creation of an autonomous marine vessel as well an autonomous omnidirectional robot. Samuel’s Master’s Capstone Project was the origin of OnePointOne’s vertical farming technology. Samuel and John founded OnePointOne, Inc. in July of 2017 with a mission to nourish the 1.1 billion people that began this millennium hungry. Since then, Samuel has raised $27MM from notable investors such as Fred Luddy, Novak Djokovic, and HRH Khaled bin Alwaleed. With that funding, the incredible team at OnePointOne has built the most advanced vertical farming technology on the market.
Adam Greenberg
Adam Greenberg heads the Seattle- based startup that provides AI and computer vision technology to help greenhouse growers optimize their operations. iUNU & Mr. Greenberg have been recognized with a Medal of Excellence nomination from Greenhouse Grower, best new indoor growing technology from United Fresh Produce Association, and Adam was recently named to GPN's 40 Under 40 Class of 2020. Adam has also been a speaker & panelist at universities, associations, conferences. Farm Traveler recently featured Adam on their November podcast. Mr. Greenberg put together an AI symposium for Congressional staffers on Capitol Hill late last year. He founded iUNU in 2013 to revolutionize the greenhouse industry by using machine vision technology. His passion for agriculture came from his father who is a botanist and entrepreneur. Mr. Greenberg earned his degrees in Finance and Entrepreneurship from the University of Washington and is a former financial analyst at Amazon.
