Reducing Fear in Veterinary Dentistry — for Pets and Pet Parents
Periodontal disease is the most common infectious disease in dogs and cats, affecting 78 percent of dogs over 4 years of age and 73 percent of cats over 4 years of age.1-4 As veterinarians, we want to prevent and treat periodontal disease in our patients, but fear, anxiety, and stress (FAS) in pets as well as pet parents can get in the way.

In Reducing Fear in Veterinary Dentistry — for Pets and Pet Parents, Heidi Lobprise, DVM, Diplomate AVDC, will show you how to apply the core concepts of Fear Free to make sure pets get the care they need.
