Brian Corpening (Chief Diversity Officer @Cal State Monterey Bay)
Brian has more than 30 years of experience in academic administration. He earned his Ph.D. in educational studies from the University of Oklahoma. His broad professional experience in higher education, and extensive experience serving in capacities focused on diversity, equity and inclusion are pivotal to advancing CSUMB’s commitment to helping to prepare students to thrive in the global, multicultural society of the 21st century.

Scott Stratton (Manager  Guest Experience Training @Monterey Bay Aquarium Foundation)
Scott is an avid fan of making people feel good. He has worked at the educational, non-profit Monterey Bay Aquarium Foundation for almost three decades. Scott most recently has been developing and delivering hospitality training and engagement strategies for the staff and Volunteer Guide corps within the Guest Experience Division. Scott earned his BA in Biology from Colby College in Maine. He was born in New Jersey and enjoys all the Monterey’s oceanside tourism and hospitality industry has to offer.
