Dyslexic academic, grime writer and bashment-dancing social activist Debris Stevenson joins Nottingham's GOBS Collective in a showcase of creative talent, all as part of Nottingham Poetry Festival.
GOBS Collective was launched in March 2020 with a massive nod to Mouthy Poets - the legendary Nottingham company headed by Stevenson.
Shortly after GOBS started meeting at NTU Dance Studio to write and play this year, the world went into lockdown following the news of the Covid-19 pandemic. GOBS Collective continued their workshops with Lead Writers Bridie Squires and Ioney Smallhorne through online video-chat sessions and worked towards a digital stream of pre-recorded poetry films.
Now, the dynamic group of poets are set to deliver a live digital showcase alongside the poet who inspired the programme.
Join the crew for rhythms, stories, and metaphorical magic.
