Wastewater treatment plants (WWTPs) are key infrastructures for ensuring a proper protection of our environment. However, WWTPs are also major energy consumers and can cause environmental impact on receiving waters.

Wastewater Process Engineer @DHI
Mr. Sanford is a registered P.E. in the state of Colorado with demonstrated expertise in WEST process modeling, DIMS.CORE controller design, wastewater process design and simulation, water treatment process engineering and operations support, oil and gas process engineering, plant mass and energy balancing, VBA and Matlab programming, MIKE URBAN and MIKE 21 hydraulic modeling support, project management, and data analysis.
MS. ANN QUENZER
Head of Department, Urban Water @DHI
Ms. Quenzer is the current US Urban Department Head leading a team of wastewater process engineers, urban hydrology and hydraulic modeling engineers and a senior solutions architect specialist. She is principally involved with hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design with emphasis on wastewater collection and stormwater systems. Ms. Quenzer has extensive experience and expertise using DHI's MIKE URBAN as well as in integrating GIS data and modelling applications. She has been involved in a variety of projects emphasizing project management, design management, continuous hydrologic modeling for stormwater assessments, I/I assessment for separated sanitary sewer systems, cloudburst modeling, real time control, optimization and watershed management. Ms. Quenzer has performed integrated surface and pipe system analyses in multiple urban areas
