Knowledge Translation Specialist in Geriatrics @Regional Geriatric Program of Eastern Ontario
Heather is the Knowledge Translation Specialist in Geriatrics with the Regional Geriatric Program of Eastern Ontario. Previously, she spent 20 years as a geriatric assessor and team leader for the Geriatric Assessment Outreach Team, ensuring vulnerable community dwelling seniors accessed the most appropriate health care, community services and programs to support Aging in Place. Heather is passionate about helping clinicians access and use the information they need to offer the best possible care. To further this interest, Heather is currently pursuing her Doctorate of Science in Rehabilitation and Health Leadership with a focus on knowledge translation and implementation science
