Hi there, You are invited to a Zoom webinar. When: Oct 27, 2020 07:30 PM Eastern Time (US and Canada) Topic: Virtual Haunted Campfire: BATTLEFIELD GHOSTS Register in advance for this webinar: https://zoom.us/webinar/register/WN_wwK0bD03TVK4hr4kCD4vzQ After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. ---------- Webinar Speakers Mark Brugh (Co-Founder @Sharpsburgh Ghost Tours) Since 1983 Mark and Julia Brugh have studied Sharpsburg's Civil War history, and in the process learned incredible stories from people who live there. After years of conducting historic tours of their favorite Civil War town, in 2011 they started Sharpsburg Civil War Ghost Tours as the only full time, year round Sharpsburg tour operators with tours based on our decades of research and story gathering. This year, 2020, marks the beginning of their 10th season! Sharpsburg has a rich, vibrant, and tragic past that is the perfect environment for mysterious sightings and happenings that they have successfully traced back to well documented historical events. Kyle Upton (Founder @Ghost Tours of Niagara) Addicted to history at an early age, Kyle took inspiration from the Ghost Walk in Colonial Williamsburg to create Ghost Tours of Niagara in order to share the history of Fort George in Niagara-on-the-Lake with people who didn't yet realize that they liked history. Established in 1994, the Ghost Tour at Fort George was one of the first such enterprises in Canada. "The ghosts have been really good to us over the years" and the tours grew as more and more participants experienced both the atmosphere of Fort George after the sun had set, and the antics of the permanent residents there. In 2000, the stories of the Ghost Tour were published in Niagara's Ghosts: At Fort George, and a second book, Niagara's Ghosts II came out in 2003. The Ghost Tours at Fort George are run by the Friends of Fort George, the charitable organization that works in partnership with Parks Canada to preserve and protect Canadian history in the Niagara Region. Glen Shackleton (Founder @Haunted Walks Inc.) Glen Shackleton is the CEO and founder of Haunted Walks Inc. What started as a summer job has grown over 25 years into Canada’s most popular walking tour company with a team of extraordinary tour guides in Kingston, Ottawa and Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Glen also works with cultural institutions and historic sites to create unique and memorable haunted programming.
