Dare to Ask: Brexit 100 Days
Sign up to our second in the series of ‘Dare to Ask’ hosted by our Chancellor, Gavin Esler, who will be joined by a panel of University academics and alumni.

After many months of negotiations, the United Kingdom and the European Union finally agreed a deal. The UK left the EU on 31st December 2020, but what does this mean for the future? Our experts will explore how Brexit has impacted the UK in the last 100 days. The panel will discuss questions such as: 'Does leaving the European Union change what it means to be 'British'? 'What has Brexit really meant for you?' and 'Can the UK and the EU have a relationship built on trust'?.

The panel will include our Chancellor, Gavin Esler as Chair, Sasha Langeveldt, Alumna and Former Kent Union President, Neva Sadikoglu-Novaky, Alumna, Professor Jeremy Carrette, Dean for Europe, Dr Miriam Sorace, Lecturer in Quantitative Politics, and Professor Richard Whitman, Professor of Politics and International Relations.

Dare to Ask is a topical panel debate series, which aims to spark imagination and debate and connect you with our experts.
