Renewing our Social Contract: Strengthening the Role of Private Philanthropy in Serving the Common Good - Perspectives on the Disbursement Quota
Join us on June 16th, during the next webinar under the theme of Renewing our Social Contract – the Role of Private Philanthropy in Supporting the Public Good, to hear PFC’s’ approach to the Government of Canada’s consultations on its proposed increase to the Disbursement Quota. The webinar, co-hosted by Carleton University, will be facilitated by Dr. Susan Phillips, Professor, and Supervisor at Carleton University’s Philanthropy and Nonprofit Leadership Graduate Program, and will feature a panel of PFC members representing different operating models and reflecting various perspectives on the DQ. We will be joined by Dr. Nathan Grasse, Professor, Carleton University’s Masters of Public policy and Administration, Jean-Marc Mangin, CEO of PFC, Rosamond Ivey, Chair of Ivey Foundation and founding member of PFC, Allan Northcott, CEO of the Max Bell Foundation and immediate past chair of PFC, and Jacqueline Koerner, Founder and Co-Chair of EcoTrust Canada and Director of Foundations for Social Change.

Le webinaire, co-organisé par Université Carleton, sera animé par Susan Phillips, professeure et responsable du programme d'études supérieures en philanthropie et en leadership sans but lucratif de l'Université Carleton. Il comprendra un panel de membres de FPC représentant différents modèles opérationnels et reflétant diverses perspectives sur le contingent des versements.
