Since Arion and the Dolphin in Ancient Greek times, right up to the present day, some dolphins have chosen to form a close bond with people. Hear these amazing stories of solitary dolphins and their human friends, learn about co-operative behaviour between dolphins and fishermen and consider the implications of such close contact for all concerned.
This talk is free and delivered as tribute to my great friend and mentor Dr Horace Dobbs who died a year ago. He spent much of his life as a renowned film maker and author exploring this phenomenon and had a huge influence on my life. It is a special version of one of my most popular talks and will include an opportunity for up to 30 minutes of Q&A after a presentation of around 50 minutes.
