Alex will present the case for corporate leaders serving goals other than shareholder value, and Lucian will question this approach. Lucian and Alex will then challenge each other on their positions. Gillian will lead Q&A with questions of her own as well as fielding some from the audience.
Alex and Lucian hold contrasting opinions on stakeholder capitalism, which they have developed in their academic work, and the discussion will allow for their views to be explored in depth.
