Wi-Fi 6 and Broadband Forum test methods
Everyone’s focused on shipping Wi-Fi 6 (11ax) products and the industry needs standardized performance test methods. Since the Wi-Fi Alliance is focusing on interoperability, the Broadband Forum has focused on performance testing. We will discuss both interoperability and performance test methods at this seminar.

octoScope’s live demos will include Wi-Fi 6 operation and sniffing. UNH InterOperability Lab (UNH-IOL) will overview the recently released Broadband Forum TR-398 standard for Wi-Fi performance testing. SmallNetBuilder.com will show the automated demo of TR-398. And dot11 Labs will demonstrate a comparison of running TR-398 tests in a house vs. in the octoBox testbed.

We will cover test methods for throughput vs. range, OFDMA, interference, mesh, roaming and band steering.

Bring your own devices if you would like to run some tests after the seminar.
