This year, we will focus on highlighting the role of women in water management, particularly within the irrigation and drainage sectors. In alignment with the United Nations' theme for 2025, “For ALL women and girls: Rights. Equality. Empowerment.”, the ICID is organizing a webinar on the theme “Water, Women, Nexus—Stronger Together, More Inclusive Forever” on March 8, 2025, at 02:30 pm (IST). We believe this webinar will provide a significant platform to showcase the leadership of women in water-related sectors and inspire progress toward gender equality in these fields. Their contributions will emphasize how gender equality and empowerment can drive positive change in global water management practices.
