CLIMATE JUSTICE: A GLOBAL CONVERSATION ABOUT THE 'BROWN ISSUE'
Black and brown people are disproportionately affected by climate change and yet appear to be the least contributors to addressing the issue. The Black Theology Forum in partnership with Christian Aid, will host a global conversation that will seek to provide insights into the powerful and distinctive contributions black voices make on climate justice. With a focus on Africa, the Caribbean and the UK, we hope this will increase awareness and inspire positive action amongst black churches and Christians to ensure that the “brown issue” gets the same parity of esteem as the “green issue” within the global climate justice movement.
This event will be recorded.
