Hydrodissection is an important step in cataract surgery with phacoemulsification . Freeing up the lens to rotate it is necessary to bring lens material in front of the phaco tip. It looks simple, but for many students, it is the most difficult part of the procedure to learn to do well. We will talk about lens anatomy and different techniques for freeing it up from the capsular bag to be able to rotate it.
