Launch of Virtual Trinity Library

Description

The Provost & President of Trinity College Dublin, Dr Patrick Prendergast and the Librarian & College Archivist of Trinity College Dublin, Helen Shenton invite you to the virtual launch of Virtual Trinity Library, an ambitious digitisation initiative of the Library’s most valued collections. It will conserve, curate, digitise and research these unique national heritage collections making them accessible to a global audience, from schoolchildren to scholars.

They will be joined by Guest of Honour, President of the Carnegie Corporation of New York, Vartan Gregorian who will discuss 'Creating a Virtual World Library for our Cultural Heritage' in conversation with Helen Shenton
