On June 24 at 18:00 (GMT +3), the Foreign Economic Relations Board of Turkey (DEIK) and the Turkey-U.S. Business Council (TAIK) will co-host the latest edition of their fascinating webinar series entitled “Transatlantic Talks.” DEIK and TAIK are Turkey’s longest-serving business organizations and their missions are to build strong relations and increase trade between Turkey and the world, and in the case of TAIK, with the United States.
This edition of the series is entitled “A Time for Allies to be Allies: Turkish American Global Supply Chain” and features a very special guest speaker, U.S. Senator Lindsay Graham of South Carolina. It will also feature DEIK President Nail Olpak and TAIK Chairman Mehmet Ali Yalcindag and will be moderated by former U.S. Senator David Vitter of Louisiana.
Senator Graham served four terms in the House of Representatives before being elected to the Senate in 2003. He serves as Chairman of the Judiciary Committee, and is a member of the Foreign Affairs Committee and the Caucus on U.S.-Turkey Relations.
The webinar will feature a discussion regarding the longstanding trade relations between Turkey and the U.S., how Turkey can become a more robust supply chain partner for the U.S. and how the nations can work together to recover expeditiously in a post-pandemic world.
