In 2000, B.Tech (Mechanical) completed from K L College of Engineering-Nagarjuna University, Andhra Pradesh, M.Tech (Tribology) and PhD completed from IID in 2001 and 2010 respectively. Total cumulative experience is about 20+ years in engine R&D, 1D & 3D simulation, Virtual based calibration and working on calculation of real drive fuel consumption methodology in line with VECTO. Joined with ARAI as a trainee engineer 2002 and currently holding position as a General Manager. Between 2011-14, worked with M&M, TAFE and KPIT Cummins at various levels in powertrain department Published more than 25+ papers in national and international forums. Area of interest is to reduce carbon foot print from transportation sector, non-exhaust emissions and its impact on environment

Mr. Vyankatesh S. Khairatkar is working as General Manager in safety and homologation Laboratory, ARAI. He has completed is graduation in Mechanical engineering and postgraduation in Mechanical design from Pune University. He has PG Diploma in Business Management to his credit. He is responsible for rolling resistance testing of tyres for fuel efficiency norms in India viz. AIS 142. He has worked in standardisation committee under AISC, BIS and BEE. He has several SAE international papers to his credit. He is responsible for testing of components like tyres, wheel rims, plastic fuel tanks, speed limiters at ARAI.
