What impact has Covid-19 had on artists, filmmakers, composers and creative producers working at the intersection of film and music, and producing collaborative projects?
How do commissioners, festival producers, and practitioners face the challenge of presenting work when there are ongoing limitations at traditional venues, cinemas and festivals?
If you are involved in producing or programming work across film, music or archive then join us for our upcoming Film + Music Salon. We’ll explore the current challenges and potential ways forward with bright minds drawn from the world of collaborative film and music projects.
We will be joined by festival producers, Jo Wingate and Nigel Humberstone from Sensoria, the UK’s festival of film and music, and by Lisa Brook from Live Cinema UK and artist filmmaker Esther Johnson, who are developing a new live cinema project, DUST & METAL.
They will kickstart the conversation by offering insights into their current work, collaborative projects and international connections. The session will be moderated by Joel Mills, Senior Programme Manager for the British Council’s Music team, and Gary Thomas, Programme Manager for the British Council’s Film team.
Thanks to Animate Projects for online hosting of this event.
