At 18 , David moved to New York City to attend New York University. While a freshman, she got her first restaurant job—bartending in an East Village Irish Pub. By her senior year at NYU, David was the assistant general manager at the Corner Shop Café. During this time she was offered an opening bartending position at Woodson & Ford. The cocktail bug took hold. From there David has worked behind countless bars including Danny Meyer’ Maialino, Keith McNally’s Pulino’s, Maison Premiere, Mayahuel, Prime Meats, and Donna. She opened Nitecap, where she is a co-owner, in 2014 with partners David Kaplan and Alex Day. Her cocktails have been featured in many publications and online journals such as the New York Times, Wine& Spirits Magazine, Nylon, Vogue, Time Out New York, Punch, Playboy, Tasting Table, Food & Wine, GQ. Felicia Chin Braxton (@slingin_sass ) Born and raised in the PNW working at Witness Bar and The Carlile Room, moved to New York City three years ago and began working at Nitecap, eventually moving on to work at music venues and the Campari Academy. Currently unemployed due to Corona. Fred Dexheimer (@freddexms ) Fred Dex, MS, is one of 269 Master Sommeliers in the World, a title he achieved in 2007. In a career that spans over 20 years in the wine and hospitality industry, Fred has developed dozens of restaurant/hotel wine and beverage programs. He is an ambassador/speaker to dozens of wine regions around the World and is an in-demand wine educator/entertainer. In addition to his wine duties, Fred is an accomplished cocktail developer with over 250 original recipes created. Fred is currently developing an Online Wine Education Program titled Taste Like a Master, where aspiring wine professionals and aficionados can learn the skills, systems, and communications to taste wine like a master. Fred recently became a partner in the newly formed Bespoke Beverage Marketing company Master and Shaker. He also is the creator of Drinking with the Juiceman and the One Minute Wine Review. Fred supports various charity causes and is an avid amateur drummer.
