Kailash Bhatia is a Professor of Clinical Neurology in the Department of Clinical and Movement Neuroscience at the Institute of Neurology, UCL, Queen Square, London and an Honorary Consultant Neurologist at the affiliated National Hospital for Neurology, Queen Square. He is a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians and corresponding Fellow of the American Academy of Neurology. His main research interest is in movement disorders, merging clinical, electrophysiological, and genetic methods to study the pathophysiology of movement disorders conditions like Dystonia, Parkinson’s disease and atypical parkinsonian syndromes. He is the current and founding editor in chief of Movement Disorders Clinical Practice Journal (MDCP) and has previously been the Associate Editor of Movement Disorders Journal (MDJ). He has been an active member of the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) as a delegate and full individual member.
