Dr. Chen Sagiv

Chen is a co founder and co CEO of DeePathology. Chen has a PhD in Applied Mathematics specializing in Computer Vision, dealing with time frequency analysis and variational methods. Chen also spent one year as a post doc at the University of Bremen focusing on uses of Group Theory for Image Analysis. Besides her academic studies Chen brings more than 25 years of experience in the industry, from algorithms development to managing a highly technological company. When Chen had to decide about her bachelor degree she thought over medicine on one hand and Mathematics on the other hand – where the latter was eventually chosen. Bringing Mathematics and AI to Pathology is a great way to combine both worlds.
