Age as the new class war? Contemporary representations of intergenerational inequity
Professor Susan Pickard is based in the Department of Sociology and Social Policy, University of Liverpool. Her research interests are centred upon lay and medical conceptualisations of the ageing body, living with chronic illness, gender and its intersection with age, the interplay of lay and scientific knowledge, care-giving and the nature of biomedical knowledge. She is an associate editor of Ageing & Society and a member of the Framing Ageing Research network.

This event will be chaired by Dr. Gemma Carney, Social Policy at Queen's University Belfast, and will be of special interest to anyone studying children and young people as well as ageing. The webinar is being held as part of National Intergenerational Week.
