Colleen is a Senior Associate at Zacharia Brown and practices in the areas of Medicaid Planning and Eligibility, Veterans’ Benefits, Asset Protection Planning and related Estate Planning and Estate Administration issues. She is admitted to practice law in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and before the Pennsylvania Supreme Court. She is also accredited by the Veteran’s Administration to represent Veterans in their claims before the Department. Colleen received her undergraduate degree from the Pennsylvania State University and her law degree from Duquesne University. She is a member of NAELA and PAELA and a frequent lecturer on Elder Law topics, including continuing education for lawyers, accountants, financial planners, nursing home administrators and social workers. Colleen can be heard broadcasting for Pittsburgh Elder Law on 3WS 94.5 FM on Saturday mornings at 7:30 am and on KDKA 1020 AM on the third Tuesday of every month at 7:00 pm.

In 2009, he transitioned his practice to a national estate and financial planning organization, was named "Rookie of the Year" and was quickly promoted to district manager. In 2015, Michael partnered with the Affinity Advisory Network, bringing his decade of experience in retirement and estate planning with him. Today, Michael works with retirees and pre-retirees to ensure that their objectives are met and that every client is protected against the many roadblocks that continue to plague people throughout retirement.
