Throstur Bjorgvinsson, Ph.D, ABPP
Thröstur Björgvinsson, Ph.D., ABPP, is an associate professor of psychology at the department of psychiatry, Harvard Medical School; the director of the Behavioral Health Partial Hospital Program at McLean Hospital, and co-director of psychology training at McLean Hospital / Harvard Medical School. He is also the founder and director of the Houston OCD Program, a specialized residential OCD program in Houston, Texas, and a co-founder and co-director of the OCD & Anxiety Program of Southern California. He received his BA from the University of Iceland and his Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario, Canada. He has published over 90 scholarly articles and given over 300 presentations and workshops, nationally and internationally, on evidence-based treatments for anxiety disorders and depression. Currently, he is thrilled to be co-leading the effort to bring Bergen 4 Day Treatment to the USA through Houston.
