Diane Laird
Associate Trainer @Bounce Forward
Diane started her professional life as a social worker, working with young offenders, runaways and families at risk of breakdown. Inspired by the resilience of the children and adults she encountered, she pursued projects that sought to promote and build the resources of individuals, families and the communities they lived in. She now works as a free-lance trainer and coach working with schools and local authorities. She is passionate about supporting the wellbeing of children and their families and was delighted to be involved in the design and delivery of Raising Resilience. She has worked as part of the Bounce Forward training team since 2014 and has supported the delivery of many resilience programmes. Diane recently completed an MSc in Applied Positive Psychology to further her understanding of the science behind resilience and wellbeing. Diane has three children who support her resilience and challenge it in equal measure!
