Jez Humble has said that team members engaged in DevOps build “a platform that allows developers to self-service environments for testing and production (and deployments to those environments)”. Building a DevOps culture helps teams move towards continuous delivery, the ability to get changes into production safely, quickly and sustainably. Team members with a wide range of competencies bring testing, development, operations, and product activities together. DevOps helps us build many different quality attributes into our product. Thinking of it as “DevTestOps” reminds us that testing is at the heart of DevOps culture.
Join Lisa, along with John Kinnebrew, Tamara Yu and Geoff Cooney from the mabl engineering team for a fun Ask Me Anything session. Bring your questions about anything to do with DevTestOps, and the vital role testers and testing play to give teams confidence to release frequently to production. We’ll share our experiences, and if we don’t have the answers we’ll give you recommendations for where you might find those answers. We also welcome questions about how AI and machine learning technology can help with continuous delivery and testing.
