The VFX Festival, hosted by Escape Studios, is a celebration of visual effects, animation, games and motion graphics. For the last 7 years the annual festival hosted in London has attracted many attendees and high profile speakers from award-winning studios.
For the first time in its history the VFX Festival is being divided into a virtual series to support emerging talent from all over the world by allowing professionals to share their insights on award-winning productions and encourage collaboration among the international participants.

It’s 2020; a good time to look forward to the next ten years. We've collected a group of experts from across digital media to identify and predict future trends in the screen industries, including VFX, Games and Animation, that may change our work lives in the near future.
What new platforms for entertainment might emerge? Will VR or AR fulfill some of its promise? Will TV and Film exist as separate media? Will the new superpowers of China and India have changed the Film Industry? What kind of a media landscape will it be? What are the main trends emerging now that will dictate what we see, hear and experience in the entertainment industries? How might you get a head start and be prepared? The World Economic Forum predicts 65 percent of the children entering school now will ultimately work in a job that doesn’t yet exist, so what’s the outlook for the next ten years?
