Prior to working at Kickstarter, Margot Atwell was a freelance editor, publisher of an independent publishing company, and publicity specialist. She is a writer who frequently publishes articles, and is co-author of The Insider's Guide to Book Publishing Success. She currently writes the On The Books newsletter and is working on a new book, Don't Steal This Book: Why Paying for Words is Radical and Necessary.
