Adapting your writing for patients and the public
Writing successfully for lay audiences is about more than choosing the right words and visuals: it's about having the right goals and process too. In this webinar, patient information specialist Dr Hannah Bridges, HB Health Comms Ltd, will explore how communications professionals established in MedComms can adapt their approach for lay audiences. Attendees of this ZOOM meeting will come away with clear and simple 'golden rules' to apply to future lay materials.

Questions from the audience will be welcomed.

It should be of interest to all medical writers and others working in and around MedComms and wanting to deliver more effective patient communications.

The webinar is free of charge and all being well a recording will be posted afterwards at

Note we are allowing 60 minutes for the webinar and we always aim to finish promptly on time.

MedComms Networking Webinars will be run every Wednesday at 12.00 midday UK time from 2 October through to 4 December. We'll then take a break and start again in 2020. They will be free to all who wish to attend. Topics will range widely but the aim is always to be relevant to people working in and around MedComms, by which we mean medical communications, medical education and medical publishing, and anyone who wants to start.
