Echo360 is the leading video platform for higher and further education institutions in Australia. We are committed to ensuring that videos are accessible and engaging for all learners. As part of our approach to accessibility, Echo360 has developed an automatic speech recognition (ASR) feature that provides a multi-modal learning experience so that students can read along with spoken content. Echo360’s ASR transcripts can also be edited into fully compliant closed captions as a more affordable and scalable approach to captioning an institution's content.
This session will provide an overview of Echo360's approach to accessibility and compliance with accessibility standards, and demonstrate Echo360's ASR feature.
