Hosts Lisa and Davide are joined by guest and SPED expert, Emily Broadbent to discuss the impact that distance learning has had on special education in her rural community. Emily has been working as a resource teacher for three years (specifically in Early Intervention) and is currently a researcher for a new program called JIPP (Joyful Interventions through Thoughtful Play). She received her B.A. in educational studies and B.ed in Primary Education from Bishop’s University in the Eastern Townships of Quebec. Emily also works closely in supporting vulnerable students.
