LUKE CHUKWUDI ILOGU (SAN), FCIArb. Mr. L. Chidi Ilogu (SAN) attended King’s College, Lagos, graduated LLB (Hons) in 1974 from the University of Ife, was called to the Nigerian Bar in June 1975 and holds a Master’s Degree (LLM) in Maritime Law from Cardiff Law School, University of Wales (1991). He was admitted to the Inner Bar as Senior Advocate of Nigeria in 2012. He is the Senior Partner of Foundation Chambers, a foremost maritime law firm based in Lagos, Nigeria, and has over 40 years' experience in legal practice. He is a Consultant to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) on legal matters; Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (UK); the Association of International Petroleum Negotiators (AIPN); and member of both the Nigerian Bar Association and the International Bar Association. He is currently the President of the Nigerian Maritime Law Association, the Nigerian branch of Comité Maritime International (CMI) and serves on the Advisory Board Mr. Adedoyin Afun (Partner @Bloomfield LP) A product of the prestigious King’s College, Lagos, Adedoyin holds a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) from Nigeria’s premier university, University of Ibadan, a Master of Laws (LL.M) (International Commercial and Maritime Law) from Swansea University, Wales; and he is dually qualified to practice in Nigeria and England & Wales. He is a Partner at Bloomfield Law Practice, a leading commercial and dispute resolution law firm in Nigeria. His core areas of practice are corporate finance, banking & securities, transportation (shipping, aviation & logistics), international trade, foreign investments & divestments, insurance, project finance, energy and natural resources, private equity and disputes resolution (litigation and arbitration). Adedoyin is a member of the several professional bodies and he sits on the board of several companies.
