Meet the Task Force Event for RFMs

Resident-Fellow Members are invited to join the APA Presidential Task Force to Address Structural Racism Throughout Psychiatry for a discussion focusing on the Task Force’s creation, composition, charge, and approach, as well as future opportunities to get involved as the work continues. Members will discuss their roles within the Task Force and answer questions received from attendees.

Attendees will:
1. Have a better understanding of the efforts and achievements of the Task Force over the last several months.
2. Gain insight into the educational content that was chosen for the Town Hall events and the intended impact on APA, its members and the profession.
3. Learn about actions taken by APA components, including the Scientific Program Committee to address structural racism within APA’s educational programming content.
4. Learn more about the opportunity for RFMs to be involved going forward in particular projects designed to address structural racism.
