Ballot Initiatives Forum, sponsored by Democratic Committees of Boston Wards 8, 9, 10, 11, 12, 15, 19 and 20.
Join us October 5th for a Ballot Initiatives Forum, featuring both proponents and opponents of Ballot Questions 1 and 2.

In this time of social distancing when we are unable to gather in person, we know that our votes count more than ever. As we begin the Vote by Mail process for the November 3rd general election in Massachusetts, this Ballot Initiatives Forum is part of these Boston Democratic Ward Committees efforts to increase voter education and participation. Through this Forum, we will provide an opportunity for Ward Committee members and residents of the 2nd Suffolk and beyond to learn about the ballot initiative questions on the November 3rd ballot by providing equal time for each point of view on these issues.

Ballot Question 1: Motor Vehicle Mechanical Data
In Favor: Tommy Hickey, Massachusetts Right to Repair Coalition
Opposed: Conor Yunits, Coalition for Safe & Secure Data

Ballot Question 2: Ranked-Choice Voting
In Favor: Greg Dennis, Voter Choice for Massachusetts
Opposed: David Rosenberg, referred by Massachusetts Fiscal Alliance

Via a zoom webinar format, you will get to hear a proponent and opponent for each question. (Except for the start time, times are approximate.)
