On July 20, the Turkey – U.S. Business Council (TAIK) will host the latest in its series of “Transatlantic Talks” entitled “What to expect from U.S. trade post-election: The bipartisan factors that will impact trading partners.”
The webinar will feature Mr. Fred P. Hochberg, former Chairman and President of the Export-Import Bank of the United States and renowned author of the new book “Trade Is Not a Four-Letter Word: How Six Everyday Products Make the Case for Trade.” Mr. Hochberg also served previously as the Dean of the New School in New York City and as Chair of the Human Rights Council.
The conversation will be moderated by The Honorable Joe Garcia, the first Cuban-American to represent Florida in the United States Congress. Representative Garcia also served as Director of the Office of Minority Economic Impact for the Department of Energy under President Barack Obama.
The webinar will focus on the future of the bilateral trade relationship between Turkey and the U.S. and pathways for reaching the $100 billion trade goal jointly announced by both nations in 2019.
