Session Description:
Classroom management and student engagement are essential for classroom climate that promotes student success. Behavioral supports, student motivation, and reflective teaching are professional practices that support classroom management efforts. The fourth in our five-part webinar series focuses on classroom management, behavioral supports, motivation, and reflective teaching that can be used in secondary CTE for students with disabilities. Please join us for a focused discussion concerning classroom management and student engagement to support student achievement.

Session participants will:

1. Learn about classroom management approaches and the importance of reflective teaching practice to support student engagement and achievement.

2. Learn the importance of classroom management as part of effective teaching with a focus on behavior management and classroom climate.

3. Learn strategies, approaches that work, and practical insight for practitioners from teacher educators and consultants with a focus on students with disabilities in CTE settings.
