The National Library of Ireland Border Literatures: Opened Ground by Seamus Heaney
Border Literatures is a book reading and conversation series co-curated by Professor Nicholas Allen and the National Library of Ireland, exploring borders in literature.

It will share diverse literary perspectives of the experiences of borders, in Ireland and elsewhere, and examine how writers from different backgrounds and perspectives represent ideas of partition in their art.

In this fourth reading and conversation panel, Seamus Heaney’s poetry collection Opened Ground: Poems 1966-1996 will be the focus of a conversation with Stephen O’Neill and Maria Johnston. The panel will be moderated by Gail McConnell.
